In the heart of our community, there’s a place where abandoned, abused, and neglected animals find love, hope, and second chances. All 4 Paws Rescue, a local non-profit dedicated to giving animals in need a fresh start—and the Kerry Carr Team was honored to help support their mission through a recent fundraiser and awareness event held right here in Wayne, PA.
Kristen Geddes, founder of All 4 Paws Rescue, was inspired by a simple but powerful desire: to do more to help animals in need. What began as a personal calling has grown into a vital community resource. The rescue takes in animals from all walks of life—those left behind, mistreated, or simply without a home.
When asked about the most rewarding part of the job, Geddes shared,
“Seeing animals who were once abandoned, abused, and neglected living amazing, happy lives in their new homes—and seeing the positive impact they have on their new families—is everything.”
All 4 Paws is more than an adoption agency—it’s an advocate for awareness. The team works to educate the public about animal welfare, pet overpopulation, and the importance of adoption over buying from breeders. They also fight against puppy mills, push for stronger animal protection laws, and even help community members who are struggling to care for their pets.
The hope for the future?
“Increased awareness for the work that rescues and shelters do, so more people choose to adopt an animal in need rather than purchasing from a breeder.”
One of the most important messages All 4 Paws wants the community to hear is that rescued pets are not “damaged” or “broken.” These animals are survivors—full of love, loyalty, and gratitude. Every adoption is not just a win for the pet, but for the family who gains an irreplaceable companion.
The Kerry Carr Team at Compass believes that strong communities are built through compassion and connection. That’s why they organized a special fundraiser in Wayne, PA—bringing neighbors together to support All 4 Paws Rescue. The event wasn’t just about raising funds; it was about raising awareness. Guests learned about the rescue’s mission, met some of the incredible animals, and discovered ways to get involved—whether through volunteering, fostering, adopting, or donating.
The energy that day was contagious, fueled by the rescue’s unstoppable spirit (fittingly, the founder’s favorite song is “Unstoppable” by Sia). Every conversation, every donation, and every shared story was a reminder that together, we can make a real difference.
If you feel inspired, there are many ways to join the cause:
Volunteer your time to help care for animals or assist at events
Foster a pet to give them a safe, loving place to stay until adoption
Adopt to give an animal a forever home
Donate supplies or funds to help the rescue continue its work
Spread the word—because awareness saves lives
In the world of rescue, not every story has a happy ending—but the team at All 4 Paws never loses hope. As Geddes says:
“There is a lot of heartbreak and disappointment involved in rescue, but we can’t let it get the best of us. Even saving just one life makes a difference.”
Thanks to the dedication of organizations like All 4 Paws Rescue and the support of our community, countless animals are given a second chance. And as the fundraiser in Wayne proved, when compassion and community come together, the impact is unstoppable.
